Frostallion Noct
Dark
To breed Frostallion Noct in Palworld, combine a Frostallion and a Helzephyr of opposite genders inside a Breeding Farm supplied with Cake. The resulting Huge Dark Egg must then be placed in an Egg Incubator to hatch. Verified and fully updated for the latest game version.
Frostallion Noct is a Legendary Dark-type Pal in Palworld known as the Legendary Steed of Darkness. This powerful variant combines high mobility, Dark-element attacks, and legendary mount abilities, making it one of the strongest late-game combat Pals.
The only special breeding combination is:
Frostallion + Helzephyr = Frostallion Noct
Requirements:
Players breed Frostallion Noct because:
One parent must be male and the other female. The gender order does not matter (either male Frostallion + female Helzephyr or female Frostallion + male Helzephyr will produce the exact same result).
Construct the Breeding Farm on flat ground inside your base boundary and ensure the entrance is clear of obstacles.
Pick up one Frostallion and one Helzephyr of opposite genders from your base and toss them into the Breeding Farm.
Deposit at least one Cake into the storage chest attached to the front of the Breeding Farm.
Allow the progress circle in the Breeding Farm menu to fill up completely.
Pick up the newly created Huge Dark Egg from the center of the farm.
Place the egg in your Egg Incubator, adjust environmental temperature if needed, and wait for incubation to complete to hatch your Frostallion Noct.

Frostallion Noct is hardcoded as a unique elemental variant in Palworld's breeding system. Unlike standard Pals whose breeding output is calculated using standard breeding power scores (CombiRank), Frostallion Noct bypasses normal formulas entirely and can only be cross-bred using its exact, dedicated recipe: Frostallion + Helzephyr.

Breeding Frostallion Noct yields a Huge Dark Egg. Actual incubation time varies depending on your world settings or server configuration (ranging from instant to several hours).
Dark-type eggs require comfortable or slightly warm environmental temperatures. If the status reads "Seems a bit cold," place indoor heaters, Campfires, or Electric Heaters near the incubator. Failing to meet its preferred temperature applies a speed penalty, significantly prolonging total incubation time.
To streamline passive skill inheritance, select parent Pals (Frostallion and Helzephyr) that carry only your desired gold passives. Keeping the parents' combined passive skill pool clean eliminates unwanted red or tier-1 filler traits, making targeted inheritance faster across multiple breeding cycles.
Yes. Once you have successfully bred your first pair of opposite-gender Frostallion Noct, breeding Frostallion Noct + Frostallion Noct together will reliably produce more Frostallion Noct eggs without requiring Helzephyr again.
Additionally, Frostallion Noct can serve as a high-tier parent in other cross-breed recipes to pass down its inherited Legend trait to different Dark and Dragon species. You can explore all combinations in our Full Breeding Database.
